Just sent you once again out into the night

Never do you grumble "This isn't right".

You swiftly and proudly got your uniform on

And just like that, you were gone.

No matter if it's a transformer or pole

You are always ready to climb high or go in the hole.

Your skill and courage greatly amaze me

I wish the whole world could see what I see.

When the power would go out before I met you

I knew someone got it going again, but didn't know who.

Now I know it's people like you and your crew,

Doing that awe-inspiring and dangerous work that you do.

You get called to perform whether you're sleeping or not.

Even when you've had little time with your family or alot.

In my eyes you're a hero much like Superman.

You are my friend, my husband and my terrific Lineman!
