Here's the near miss: Apprentice lineman was going up a single phase deadend with a pot hung on it He was going to squeeze up a vapor light hot, after climbing pole we decided to kill out pot and cutout was on a halfarm when we pulled on barrell to open cutout the halfarm BROKE!! well needless to say the fire flew and the fuse blew but thanks to the ground wire on halfarm going to lighing arrestor the arm did not fall on apprentice lineman (so please watch out for those old half arms they are
