On Sept,22/00 we lost a good friend & lineman. he was working a back yard rehab out of a single bucket. they were only to be working on the de-energized secondary. the 4800 line was installed and tied in the day before. just good easy work for a bluebird Friday. something bad happened we don't know what exactly, all that we really can figure is that in the process of trying to get a spliced out service up & around a tree he raised his bucket higher than he thought coming in contact with 4800 & the service in his hand. he had 22 yrs. experience he ran our apprentice program for two years then came back to our side because of his love for the work. I wright this just to say that you never know when shit is going to go wrong lets keep our heads on & work safe. I know this was a stupid mistake, but it can happen to any one, work safe my brothers& sisters. let's not have to read another one of these. This email address is being protected from spambots.
