Well its no suprise the job is dangerous and stressful on body and mind you have to go to work with a clear head everday not ever cloudy doing so could possibly get you hurt you have to think about your next action. I write this tribute to my dad he has been a lineman for 30 yrs now and he is very good at what he does i've seen him dead tired on storm work thirty hr work day is not unreal to these men i've grown up around it when i was little i didnt know what exactly this man did to put food on the table i never knew how dangerous this was or how much it actually takes from a person sometimes. Now i am just turning 25 yrs old i am B class lineman and i have seen and felt the hurt that what all lineman go through the body stress the long hrs and sometimes being away from you family weeks to months at a time. Its hard on a person i dont think people actually understand what lineman do or go through they just want their power back on but they dont know it takes the blood sweat and tears from us to do it so next time you see any lineman whether it be a uncle aunt dad mother grandpa or grandma or friend tell them thanks for what you do for us i just want to say thanks to my dad (Leo Bernal) my number one fan my #1 lineman and my #1 teacher thanks dad for doing everything you did for us as a family and for what you have taught me and for the man i am today
Thanks to all lineman for what you do and go through remember the quote (when the lights go out lineman get it on!)
