Doggie Bag

Back in the middle 70's we had a very bad ice storm in Detroit. Our company emptied the offices to cover all the wire downs. Two of my co-workers, Doug and Lynn were sent to a wire down. Upon arrival, they found one of these wire downers (ENGINEER) with a clip board telling them what they had down and what they needed to do. He finished with the fact that a dog had been electrocuted. At this Doug said "Ah shit", we have to bag the evidence in case there is a lawsuit. Doug asked Lynn to get a bodybag (large paper material sack) to place the dog into. Doug asked the wiredowner & his partner if they would bag the evidence and take it to the service center and give it to the G.F.  This was a large getto dog that was frozen and took them quite a long time to bag. As they left, Doug said to tell the G.F that crew 32 had sent it in. Crew 32 was another leaders crew number. They arrived at the service center and told the GF that crew 32 had sent the bodybag with the frozen dog in it for evidence in case of a law suit.  The GF told them to get the hell out of his service center. They then took the dog to the General Office to give it to the legal department. It wasn't until they met with the legal Department that they realized they had been had.  So much for that 4 years of college and that degree.
