Irate Customer

Went a call for partial lights one night to find one side of the wires burnt in the meter base. Tried to explain to the customer that it was his trouble and he had to get an electrician to fix the problem. He said he just had an electrician over and insisted it was the power company problem. After a lengthy discussion and patching up the problem for the customer, he was told  he still needed an electrician to make repairs tomorrow. The next day I get a  call to reconnect the same customer. Upon arrival the same customer came and  started to explain the whole situation. As I listened he criticized the man who came out last night from the power company for the way he was treated.  After hooking up the service and talking to the customer some more, just as I  was leaving I told him, O BY THE WAY I WAS THE GUY WHO CAME OUT LAST NIGHT YOU HAVE A NICE DAY. And drove off.
