One day back about 1985, Edward came boppin'' into the service center about 7:45 one morning and, boy, was he ever beaming. He walked over to the coffee pot and poured himself some. Then, he sat down at the table in the crew room. We could tell by the look on his face that he had
something that he just couldn't wait to tell everyone. Finally, when the moment was right, he started in.

"Man, I scored a great deal at the Quik-E-Mart this morning." Someone responded... "Oh yeah? What happened?"  "Well..." Edward continued, "... I stopped to get some gas and a guy came up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy a VCR. So, I told him that I'd take a look at one. The guy was selling them out of the trunk of his car. He had a whole bunch of them, brand new,... still in the
boxes. So, I went over and checked it out. The guy said he would sell me one for $400. I told him he was crazy. There was no way that I would pay any more than $200. He finally gave in.... what a dope. So I went into the Quik-E-Mart and checked two hundred bucks out of the ATM and now I got me a brand new VCR... still in the box... never been
opened!" Someone responded... "Hey,.... let's see it." So several of the guys followed Edward out to the parking lot where he had the brand new VCR safely locked in the cab of his pick up truck. Ed unlocked and opened the passenger side door. He lifted the new VCR off the floor and carried it around to the tailgate of the truck. Edward pulled out his pocket knife and carefully slid the blade under the two
flaps. Next, he lifted the flaps exposing the bright white styrofoam packing around the top of the VCR. Finally, Edward raised the top half of the white styrofoam shell and revealed his brand new.... VCR? No! Edward recoiled in shock. Everyone else gathered around the back of the
truck leaned in to get a better look. There in the box were eight red bricks!

Edward shoved the box, bricks and all, off onto the ground. He bolted for the drivers side of the pick up truck and took off for the Quik-E-Mart. Do you think he found that dope?
