Submitted By - me Went on a call the other day "beeping power lines". Got to the house with overhead in back. Stood and listened for a couple of minutes and heard a "beep". I could tell what direction it was coming from so I walked over towards that area. Stood a listened some more and again heard a beep. Now I recognized the sound. The lady had a smoke detector in her shed under the pole and it needed a new battery.
