This happened several years ago, I run the trouble truck and I had an order for the first thing that morning to go out to a rural customer's place and drop the service so he could cut a tree. When I arrived at the property I chatted with the customer a little bit, and he said he was ready. I set the truck up and grabbed the shotgun to detap the transformer. As soon as I landed the in the ring of the hotline clamp hornets started boiling out of a nest they had built on the back side of the transformer and I hadn't noticed it. I was a trapped rat in the bucket. The hornets were up under my hard hat, in my shirt, and I had no place to go. I was stung 32 time before I could get away, I was one sore old dog for about 3 days.
