The tower fell over
although the four did not die
the injuries were massive
I lie down and cried.

As a foreman watched
his child be born
wire snapped
a crew member gone.

Another job calls
electricity bites
a daddy of seven
I still think of his wife.

A helicopter job
the linemen can't wait
a pilot error
it's hard to keep faith.

Oh lord hear our prayers
send those lineman we lost
to watch our lineman
we still have in the air.
