After rebuilding some 19.9/34.5 to post insulators. We came to our existing line that was on arms and were going to tie the old to the new. Our Forman said we didn't need to phase it in because we hadn't change the the position of our wires. We questioned him but to no avail.
Later the switch was closed in and it blew the fuses and reclosure at the hydro plant shutting of power to half the town. Thank God the switch didn't blow up on the two lineman. Please, always phase everything in regardless.
