CALLED ON DURING A ROUTINE DAY TO CHANGE OUT A 3 PHASE BANK DUE TO A OVERLOADED CONDITION. AFTER THE CHANGE OUT AND A 20 MIN. TEST WITH OUT LOAD ON BANK. TEST FUSES CHANGED OUT AND SERVICE CONNECTED SOLID TO BANK. WITH MAIN BREAKER OPEN LINEMAN CLOSED IN FUSES ON THIRD FUSE THE BANK GROANED MORE SO THAN USUAL. LINEMAN QUICKLY CLEARED HIMSELF FROM A POSSIBLE FAILURE. AFTER LOOKING AROUND, WE FOUND THAT A SPIDER C.T. HAD FAILED IN PANEL AND CLEARED ITSELF BEFORE THE FUSE ON THE POLE HAD OPERATED. JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING IS DONE RIGHT THERE STILL IS ROOM FOR SOMETHING TO GO WRONG IN OUR FIELD OF WORK...BE SAFE
